Code of Conducts

CODE of CONDUCT for STUDENTS

All the students of this college are hereby informed that, in view of keeping the conducive academic environment and to maintain the discipline in the college premises, everybody is appealed to strictly adhere to the following instructions:

This code shall apply to all kinds of conduct of students that occurs on the Institute premises including University sponsored activities, functions hosted by other recognized student organizations and any off-campus conduct that has or may have serious consequences or adverse impact on the Institute’s interests or reputation. The code of conduct is as follows:

  1. Every student is required to wear an Identity Card when in college premises.
  2. Attendance in the classes for theory as well as practical is compulsory; otherwise student will undergo a strict administrative action as per the rule.
  3. Everybody should be punctual for classes and should avoid coming late.
  4. Gate-Pass is compulsory for leaving the campus, during college time. (Students will be allowed only if there is certain urgency or has some important reason)
  5. Every student is advised to develop the soft skills as it is the need of the hour. Institute encourages everyone to converse in English language.
  6. Everybody is expected to attend TG meeting / Students Activity hour in every week as per time table.
  7. Utilize library hour for gaining ‘Over and Above’ knowledge in which E-Journal Papers, Magazines, Newspapers are expected to be read by the students.
  8. Everybody should involve himself / herself in any of the technical activity such as: LCD presentations / Lab Innovations / Paper presentations / Arranging or participating in workshops and improve your skills through Value Addition Programs (Earn Over & Above Marks in Term work).
  9. Students are expected to attend Soft Skill / Aptitude training sessions.
  10. Institute believes in promoting a safe and efficient climate by enforcing behavioral standards. All students must uphold academic integrity, respect all persons and their rights and property and safety of others; etc.
  11. Students are expected to use the social media carefully and responsibly. They cannot post derogatory comments about other individuals from the institute on the social media or indulge in any such related activities having grave ramifications on the reputation of the Institute.
  12. Indulging in any form of harassment which is defined as a conduct that is severe and objectively, a conduct that is motivated on the basis of a person’s race, color, national or ethnic origin, citizenship, sex, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, marital status, ancestry, physical or mental disability, medical condition etc.
  13. If there is a case against a student for a possible breach of code of conduct, then a committee will be formed to recommend a suitable disciplinary action who shall inquire into the alleged violation and accordingly suggest the action to be taken against the said student. The committee may meet with the student to ascertain the misconduct and suggest one or more of the following disciplinary actions based on the nature of misconduct.

Believe that, we all are committed to develop “Overall Engineer”. We are very sure that if you follow these guidelines and if you will not waste your valuable time in roaming around the campus / unnecessarily sitting in Canteen / chatting with each other in mediocre manner, we really can make wonders. Please don’t compel us to take any kind of disciplinary action.
